Traverse City College Preparatory Academy, located at 1402 Carlisle Rd., is led by Mr. Cameron B. Owens. Mr. Owens was school leader at TC Prep in 2007-08 and was instrumental in establishing the school, returning as school leader in 2011. Owens’ educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Albion College, where he attended as a scholar and athlete, and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University. He also holds certification in special education with an emotional impairment endorsement. Owens has been an educator for 26 years and has been with The Leona Group for 13 years.
