Traverse City College Preparatory Academy is located at 1402 Carlisle Rd., Traverse City, MI  49686. Built in 2000, the building is 26,000 square foot, single-story, former church/school facility that sits on a beautiful landscape of 25 acres. The school consists of 10 classrooms, a large foyer/commons area, administrative offices, kitchen and multipurpose room.

TC Prep is known for its tailored approach to high school education. Each student develops his or her own learning plan - which may consist of on-campus classes, online learning and working from home - or any combination of these. Students are paired with a teacher-mentor who provides support, guidance and tools to help them achieve their individual academic goals. The school's close-knit, family environment is unique in Traverse City, where the city's traditional high schools have thousands of students and a very high student-to-teacher ratio.
