Michigan teacher requirements
Applicants must have a current Michigan certificate, with endorsement/s in the grades/subject areas to be taught. Michigan has reciprocal arrangements with some states which allow a teacher who is certified in another state to obtain a temporary permit. This temporary authorization is good for one year and cannot be renewed.
